Travel with us to southern Spain on this 8-day, 7-night tour, visiting the beautiful cities of Córdoba, Seville, Granada, and Toledo. We'll depart from Madrid by air-conditioned coach to discover the cultural and scenic richness of Andalusia and its coast. Not only will you admire its beaches and beautiful white villages, but you'll also experience its historical legacy through guided tours of the Mosque of Córdoba, Seville Cathedral, and the world-renowned Alhambra. On the way back to Madrid we will stop in the imperial city of Toledo, declared a World Heritage Site.

  • During your stay in Madrid there will be no accompanying guide service.
  • If the visit of Madrid could not be carried out for technical reasons, it would be replaced by the 1-day Tourist Bus Madrid City Tour or a walking tour of the Austrias Quarter (to be decided by the operator).
  • In the event that the Board of Trustees of the Alhambra and Generalife, on certain dates, does not grant tickets for the participants in the visit, compensation for the loss of these services will be offered, at the discretion of the operator.
  • The hotel for the return night in Madrid may be different from the one for the outbound stay.

Itinerary

  • Arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Remainder of the day at leisure. Accommodation at the hotel. The latest time to arrive at the hotel and ensure departure without missing services is 3:00 PM.

  • Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we will enjoy a panoramic tour of the city. We will contemplate its medieval origins, such as the Moorish fortress, while touring the Morería neighborhood, characterized by the antiquity of its buildings and the flavors of its inns. We will explore the courtly Madrid of the Habsburgs, with Philip II and his Renaissance and Baroque buildings in Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, and Plaza de la Villa. We will see the Madrid of the Bourbons and the urban layout of Charles III, the Royal Palace, the Cibeles Fountain, the Neptune Fountain, and the Puerta de Alcalá. We will admire 19th-century buildings such as the elegant Plaza de Oriente and the Prado Museum. We will explore contemporary Madrid with avenues such as Gran Vía, Paseo de la Castellana, the Salamanca neighborhood, Parque del Oeste, the University City, the commercial and financial areas of Modern Madrid, and the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. The afternoon is at your leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Breakfast at the hotel. Departure south along the land of Don Quixote, 'The Man of La Mancha', passing by the traditional Don Quixote Inn in Puerto Lápice. Through the natural pass of 'Despeñaperros', we arrive in Andalusia, a region steeped in rich heritage from a splendid past. Arrival in Córdoba. Visit its impressive Mosque/Cathedral to relax and recharge your mind and spirits as you stroll through the narrow streets of the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon, after a short two-hour tour, arrival in Seville. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, enjoy a monumental and panoramic tour of the city, including admission to the Cathedral, the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peter's in Rome. Visit the typical Santa Cruz neighborhood, the natural setting for 'Carmen' and the place where the myth of 'Don Juan' was developed. Visit the María Luisa Park and Plaza de España. Free afternoon to discover different perspectives and unique flavors of this vibrant, light-filled city. Overnight at the hotel.

  • After breakfast at the hotel, depart south along the White Villages Route toward Ronda. Free time to admire this city of Celtic origins, with wonderful views of the valley and mountains. In the afternoon, continue to one of the most modern and important areas of international tourist interest, the Costa del Sol. Overnight at the hotel.

  • Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Granada and its incredible and astonishing monumental setting, the last bastion of the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada until 1492. Visit the world-famous Alhambra and the Generalife Gardens, fountains, gardens, and courtyards whose sights and sounds have inspired authors such as Washington Irving in his 'Tales of the Alhambra'. Accommodation at the hotel. In the evening, optional Zambra Flamenca show.

  • Desayuno en el hotel.
